Print this Article  |  Email to a Friend  |  Back Cinekada Top 20‘s Activities Monday, July 26, 2010 Cinekada, the first SM Cinema Barkada Search has narrowed down the contenders to its top 20 barkadas! The group of friends met each other during the Cinekada orientation last July 17, 2010, at the SM Centerstage, Mall of Asia. More than just an orientation, the day was filled with games and fun activities. At the end of the day, SM Cinema chose a "Cinekada of the Day" to win red carpet premiere privileges for The Last Airbender! Last July 24, 2010, the top 20 Cinekadas were on a mission with SM Foundation's Donate a Book Activity at Taguig City Hall and Pasay City Hall. The afternoon was delightful with storytelling sessions as each barkada imparted their time for a good cause. On July 31, the top 20 will be trimmed down to the top 5 and the grand finals will be held on August 14, Saturday, at the SM Centerstage, Mall of Asia. Prizes for the winning Cinekada include: P100,000, trip to Boracay, SM Cinema endorsers, various gift certificates, and an appearance in a GMA movie.
