Manuel Hidalgo is a Filipino actor who was a big name in his early years, with many leading roles in film and TV. However, he hit a dry patch, which forced him to go to Japan, where he earned a living while performing illegally at Filipino pubs. Manuel meets Shigeru, a mid-50s construction manager who recently declared bankruptcy due to unpaid debts and is looking for a way out. They catch a news report about a high-profile serial killer at large whom Manuel recognizes. Both men discuss this golden opportunity and finally grasp enough courage to give chase to get the reward money and solve their problems. Can a middle-aged man and an actor with no police or military training outmatch an unpredictable and psychotic killer?
